Hawk Designs D.O.G. Lock Folder

Saw this in the GUNS magazine and seems to be a very neat design.
So, does anybody have any experience with the Hawk D.O.G. folder? Comments?

I have wanted one of these knives for a long time. I saw that article in that magazine and checked out his site. I would love to see one in person before buying but you just don't see them at any shows. Looks like a great knife. He also makes some cool fixed blades.

D.O.G. Folder


Picked this up in a trade a while ago, it is a great tactical folder very light wieght feels like a fixed when open! The clip is is very small and gets the knife way down in the pocket. I called Gavin about getting some new scales , he recomended the black urathane over blue anodized TI . I don't think you can see it in the picture but it is a cool effect , everything about the knife is well designed . Grant and Gavin are great guys very helpful! They are coming up with some more designs that will be out shortly. There is really alot more to the knife Check out their site.

Seen and handled at Blade Show West 2001.
Super nice knives with some cool features. Great website, too.
