I made this hawk for a repeat customer from this forum...Hope he likes it.. 1095, hickory handle with sinew wrap. I will be making a sheath for it tonight..:D

Hey Louis-Beautiful hawk!I see you've been making alot of these lately, and every one is very cool:thumbup: I'm going to try my hand at one soon-thanks for the inspirarion.

Have you ever shipped up to Canada?

Would one of your HAWK'S like that get through Customs or would it be a risky venture?

I've never tried to ship to canada so I don't know what the rules are....Maybe we can start a thread about this to get some info....I'm willing to try anything once (well almost anything :( )

I asked and looked around at the Canada Customs area, and phoned them, it's hard to get an approved answer. It might be a bit of a test to get the hawk to me.

It may depend on how you word it..ie..tool, gift ect... I know that it has been done....We will find out!!

SpearZ, I made friends with the search function tonight. It seems that as long as it is not an auto-matic knife things should go well. I can list it as a camp tool-hatchet and send it global express.. I will not be able to insure for loss however..
Louis.
