Hawk going ballistic

I was out back last weekend throwing my hawks with my brother, and he shot some video of some throws using my digital camera. I went into the video, grabbed some frames, processed and composited them using Photoshop, and got this:

Not the world's greatest throw, but I like the image anyhow.

Yup, it's a CS Rifleman. The stock handle proved to be woefully inadequate, so I cut a sledgehammer handle down to size. It holds much better.

Other than that it's a great little axe. Very practical.

Cool! Here's one of my 9 year old a couple weekends ago at a Mountain Man gun show in WA. You can see the hawk in flight to the stump.
