FYI, the A&E channel is showing the "Mountain Man Rendezvous" from Fort Bridger, WY tonight at 9:00 PM and tomorrow at 1:00 AM & 2:00 PM. Hawk & knife throwing competitions are supposed to be part of the coverage.

Cheers,

He who finishes with the most toys wins.

Actually, that's what got me to come snoop around here a bit tonight! It looks like those guys are having a blast (everybody seemed to be in fact).

I got to see an excerpt of the program earlier...reminds me of the annual American Knife Throwers Alliance National Contest, hosted each year by Bobby Branton, President of the AKTA!!! (He does that in his spare time

between hammer shots on the Hawks!!!)

Tomahawk Throwing was a fun way to spend down time for Mountain Men....and not surprisingly, Rogers' Rangers.

...so much so that the American Tomahawk Company will be a co-sponsor of the Best Ranger Contest.
