Plain jane nothin', that looks great!

I've got a China made ball pien laying around I've been meaning to forge into a hawk, how well does it perform?

Gib that is sweet! That doesn't need any decorating, your mark does all the decorating any cool hawk could ever need. That's so cool it makes me want to move to the country and start hammering steel! Wow, another great wakeup call. Thanks Gib,

Dave

Gib, Thats a fine lookin Hawk! You must have drifted the handle hole as the ones I have done had small holes and weak handles as users. Ball peins hav decent steel.

Will, don't know where the hammer was built but it
was well used, I have played with a couple of other
hammers and don't know where thay came from but thay
were not a well known US brand and thay worked fine.
One thing I found is that a hammer should be some
what red hard. Glad you like the hawk. Gib

Kewl bro. I like it.

I dunno a little rawhide turk's head knot and some brass tacks.
