Hawkbill flippers?

I'm obsessing over (gently curving) hawk-billed folders recently, and I'm looking for suggestions. My ideal choice is a Kershaw Talon II (pictured), because I like flippers and the Sandvik steel sounds great. But that's been disco'd for years, sadly. I have a WTB flyer out on that board, but in the meantime, does anyone have suggestions for current models?

I'm not limited to flippers (though that would be a home run); for instance, I know about the Spyderco Tasman Salt and understand there was a ZT disco'd not too long ago (though I dislike black-coated blades). So again, any leads are appreciated, thanks guys! :thumbup:
 
That Mixrotech is a beaut, but at $750 it's a little out of my range ATM. Appreciate the tip though! :D

And if that ZT only came in satin rather than black for the blade, it'd be winner...but luckily I came across a seller for a lightly used Talon last night and bought it, so this story has a happy ending, thankfully. But hey, more suggestions are always welcome...

Sweet! I'm glad you were able to get your hands on one.
 
Schrade Old Timer (Taylor) has come out with a thumb stud, liner lock hawk bill with a pocket clip. These new Schrades are pretty good quality. I have two stockman and a sodbuster and am quite pleased with both.

I'm expecting a Darrel Ralph custom MM4 in a chisel ground hawkbill.
 
This is my direware SoloV5 Hawkbill in damasteel, only hawkbill I own. I didn't like the shape at first but it has grown on me.

Man, look at that beast...it's like a meat cleaver had sex with a Microtech! :highly_amused: Truly awesome, but so far out of my price range it's ridiculous. But I'm super jealous, thanks for sharing the pic!
