Hawkbill folder with Hamon

[Chuck Gedraitis Knives]

Just finished this up. The blade is 3-3/8in long made of 1095 with a hamon. The bolsters are Rob Thomas raindrop pattern damascus with a hidden bolster screw for a cleaner look. The scales are red micarta and will darken with age. The backspacer is maroon micarta. Light gold anodized liners. Overall length is 7-1/2inches.

Too nice a knife for micarta, IMO (I know, likely customer request ...). Excellent blade grind.

I really love it. I, for one, don't find any issues with a micarta handle, but then I would carry it and use it.
