All right HOGS, I'm really interested in getting one of the hawkeye daggers and I have some questions that I hope you all can answer with either remarks or pics.
I noticed that it is sold through the custom shop page, but I don't see any of the more obscure handle offerings that can usually be had on other customs. I have never purchased one directly through the shop, only on the forum here so maybe I need to contact the shop personally. If that is so is it better to contact them via phone or email? Secondly, I was wondering what exactly does the hand shaped handle look like and is it really worth the extra money, If anyone has a pic of one I would love to see one. Any pics of other handle types and or colors would also be greatly appreciated so I can make an educated decision. This isn't exactly a cheap knife as it is and adding the extras can really add up, so I want to make sure they are worth it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello!

If you would like to contact us via phone, the office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00-5:00 PM Eastern Time. We will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the Hawkeye Dagger. I am sure some of the Hogs on here would love to show off their hand shaped beauties. :D Machined V.S. Hand shaped is all about what you prefer. When you hold the knife, would you like to feel the grooves in the canvas/G10 or would you like it to be smooth?

I would love to buy one but, alas alack it is a dagger and as such it is one of the Pennsylvania Prohibited Weapons. So I could OWN it and "safe queen" it but, I could not ever legally carry it so....I'll save my beans for some other fine BUSSE that really grabs me.

I could also make it a single edge knife but, then....it wouldn't be a beautiful dagger. It would just be a beautiful knife that looked like a dagger.
