Yes, jb4570 That is a 4" S& W 44mag. I can Kill 2 more doe's
this year, in the county where our deer lease is.I was wearing my
110 in the photo but you see it.I will try to put the buck knives
in the next photo.
Can you kill anymore deer out there this year ,or are you done?

Nope, our gun season starts Nov. 18th? This saturday...
We cant shoot 4 deer though
Heck I'll be lucky IF I see 4 LOLRifle country though no revolvers for me. I'm not that steady

Hi Hawkeye,
Our state (the republic of CA) is broken down into different zones. The coastal archery season starts in mid July, followed by the rifle season mid August - Sept. Most of the other zones in the state start in October and go for an entire 2 weeks. The zone we hunted this year you can only take 1 deer. Some zones will allow up to 2 deer per year. We can also mix it up and hunt multiple zones. But, you have to have a deer tag for each zone you hunt in. The deer season is over for me until next year

I am sorry to hear that the season is over for you.I did no know much
about the game law's in CA. Mid August is very hot here in the lone star state.
The season mostly state wide , starts the first weekend in Nov.every
year for guns.And goes to the first weekend in Jan.The number of deer
that you can kill is different from county to county.it's all so confusing.
It is always best to get the game book every year.There are a lot of one buck countys, but there is also many that have 2 buck countys.
Anyway I will go hunting sometime in December to finish out my year.
I will try to get some Buck knives in the photo's this time.
