New hawk joins the family

Winkler stealth hawk. It's a mini!

Shown with the SOG, Rattle Hawk, and RMJ Shrike

Show me your hawks!

The stealth hawk is cool, love the carved handle. I have always liked the rattle hawk as well. If your into winkler/busse combos check my "strange bedfellows" from earlier tonight.

Thanks Guys! I'm pretty fortunate to have found all three pieces at different times and that they go together so well. I'm even more fortunate that my wife tolerates all this stuff!!!

Oh...and about re-thinking the black rifles and fantastic plastic pistols..... uh uh.

That custom .58 is a hoot and the romantic side of me dreams of wandering the wilderness with just those tools pictured (and maybe one more larger knife), but technology can't be beat for today's environment when these modern tools may be called upon to save your, your loved ones and/or your buddies bacon!!! (mmmm... bacon)

All the Best!

Thanks again...here's the spec's:

The .58cal Hawken replica was built by Rodney T. Shields after he took strict measurements off of one of the rifles housed in the Museum of the Mountain Man, in Wyoming. It has been stocked with a super piece of curly maple and has Bob Roller handmade triggers, a Ron Long Lock, and a 32 inch Getz tapered octagon barrel. All hardware is browned iron. The length of pull is fourteen and a quarter inches and the rifle weighs 9.6 lbs. It's a shooter!

The spike Hawk is from Butches Forge and the little patch knife is a G.L. Drew offering I picked up second hand in the BF classifieds.:thumbup:

I shot the Coyote about 4 years ago with a little contender carbine in .17Rem. I picked up the case in an estate sale. The deck came with the house when we bought it and was re-finished the past spring.:D

I REALLY appreciate the compliments guys! I sure didn't mean to have the thread diverted, so let's get it back on track...

For Busse content let's see...(here's the closest thing I have to an INFI hawk at the moment)
