I recently acquired my great grandfather's Hay Budden anvil. It's not in the best of condition (the back of it has been sheered off), but I have begun cleaning it up a bit using a wire brush. As I was cleaing it I found a serial number on the front of the base. It would be great if I could get some assistance figuring out the date it was manufactured. The serial number is 182281.
