I'm interested in getting a Hayes Montana Hunter tomahawk but don't know much about the hawk or the company.

Anyone here have any info they could pass along?

I just sold (didn't want to) a Hays Next Generation Ambassador "tactical" hawk and I was totally happy with it. Light, fast, and absolutely RAZOR sharp. Plus, Hays will resharpen and refurbish them at no cost except shipping. I haven't ever had a hawk from ATC or a K5 (I want one!) but I hear good things about them too. Anyway, I was pleased with Hays' service AND product. Just my experience. Best Regards--Jim SEMPER FI

I got my Hays Montana Hunter hawk this morning. It's really well made and the fit & finish are excellent. The handle is comfortable and the checkering on it is not abrasive at all. It's compact size sems like it will be easy to carry and very versatile.

I'm really looking forward to taking this out into the woods.
