I'm shopping around for a new 'smaller' fixed blade. Big problem is every time you cross one off the list you find another to replace it.
Have any of you used/carried/like/dislike the Hays Montana Skinner? Any one recommend it as a good tool? Thoughts/ complaints?
This will be a all around knife/worker. Between the blades on a multi tool and a 6-12 inch bigger blade. General camp chores cutting wood, food, etc, a little of anything that comes up in a day. Think EDC. The same things I would use a Rat-3 for.
Up grading some of the gear and I plan on one of the Montana Hunter Tomahawks. Thought I would look in to a 31/2 blade to go with it, but may end up with a A.G Russel Canadian belt or Knifes of Alaska Yukon style blade.
I tried a search and only found one good review (no bad). Thought I would ask here, y'all are tool users, not just collectors.
