It seems that all I have been doing lately is making sheaths
. I managed to do some work on this one in between.
This knife is name after Oliver Hazard Perry; a great lakes naval officer during the war of 1812. He's pretty popular in north west Ohio

I forged the blade from 3/8" 1065, 10.25" blade, wrought iron guard, bronze ferrule, curly maple handle, 15.25" OAL.
I'm happy how this one turned out.
I'm getting married tomorrow and I'm thinking about using this for our cake knife...
