Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum, though I've been lurking here for a while now. I first got interested in restoring axes after finding an old, rusted head at work. It's nothing special, but will be a good all-purpose axe. Anyways, I came across this hatchet at a local antique store for $15 and had to have it. I've been able to figure out it's a Hults-Bruk, but not much else about it. There was some blue paint remnants on the head. The handle is in good shape with a great patina, but I don't know if it's original or not. I was wondering is anyone had an ideas as to how old this hatchet may be? It's in pretty good shape, so once I get it cleaned up and sharpened it should be a great little camping axe!
