Has anyone watched this? I've watched only 2 of the 7 parts but I'm impressed so far. I'm especially liking the Thomas Jefferson character.

I watched the whole series. Very well put together and the acting performances were fantastic. As far as the historical content, the books I've read (as usual) were much more informational.

None the less, it was a great series. Gets a little slow in the final episodes, but worth watching.

Considering buying (or checking out from the library as I did) David McCullough's book John Adams upon which the mini-series is based. It is awesome, as it is based on the letters of Adams, Jefferson, etc. so you are getting it straight from the source. I got it on CD and listened to it in the car. His book 1776 - which follows General Washington during that year - is a close second. Incredible stuff.
