Just started watching it. I loved the original movie , along with the Futureworld sequel and an actual TV series existed as well. Some other trivia most won't be aware of was that Yul Brenner's character as the robot in the original Westworld was what Arnold Schwarzenegger modeled his acting after in the Terminator.

They could also use an ASH1!!!
 
Great show! Anybody else notice the amazing tooled leather black hat worn by the bad guy who got shot in the neck in the first episode?

Loving the show as well. Im ready for them to start answering some questions before adding new ones to the mix.
 
i love it too i thought if i were to go there i would have to bring my own blade. probably my hole collection untill i figure out what i like. i hope the rooms are big with locks.
 
Supposedly they will also explore other locations like Rome and such. Def an interesting show that the producer said was partially inspired by The Red Dead video games

westworld was an old movie with mid evil world and Rome world witch was pompeii. they use the old guidelines kind of with crazy new twists. its to early to tell but in the first episode they make it clear it will be different by trowing you off on who you think is real.
 
Me and the wife are bummed. We just saw a comercial for it but can't find a replay of episode #1. Can find #2 & #3 but not the first one.

Maybe one of you that has Dish Network can help me out. Sometimes the season premier gets put down as episode #2 because a preview comes out first. Could any of you Dish customers do me a favor and check the episode #2 description and tell me if it could actually be the first one?
 
I'm not sure if they are planning on exploring the other worlds yet, but they made allusions to some of the hosts playing different parts like the father playing a cult leader.
 
Pretty cool show so far. I watched the first episode twice just to make sure i understood it all. After that it became easier to follow. Of course the late night libations that i had enjoyed prior to first viewing may have caused some of the problem.

I feel like a nice comp or satin finish on a wood handle BT6 would make a great knife for the show. or just for me
