HCs being sold on knife forum

The first batch of HCs have been sent out. I'm waiting for my knife, which will probably be the second or third batch. People are already selling them on the knife forum. It would be nice if everybody received at least one knife before the excesses are sold on the forum at a profit. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

People are going to do what people are going to do. You must be patient, weedhopper. Good things come to those who wait. Plan your first outing with your HC! Think about a sheath.

I'm just excited I get to finally get a SW, DM, Busse blade at the actual retail as opposed to paying some scalper more than he paid for a knife just because he had the time to sit on a message board and press F5 all afternoon.

I would like to see some pics of a Rat lover using the HC and rantin' and ravin' about it!

he has sheaths, too.
btw squealnut is not selling them for more than about $10 or $15 profit.
that price is with a sheath.

Thanks for saying it for the rest of us.

I'm not that much concerned about the profit, Swamp Rat or Busse has no control over that. But they could limit the amount of knifes to one per customer until everybody that wants one gets one. Then the excess could be sold on their site. That seems like the fair way to go about it.

Knife Flipping is Bad...

Yeah. It's not as though they were being sold to a retailer who then marks them up for a profit...:D

This argument has been going on for a long time now. I suggest that we all just accept the fact that it is what it is and be happy with it.

Just accepting things and being happy with them (even when they suck) leads to nothing ever changing.

If enough people voiced concern about knives being sold for profit by a few who snatch up a bunch at a time on limited releases, I bet that there could be change.

It happens. I'm shocked them custom-handled ones aren't up yet.

I'll patiently wait for my 2. And hope the Squatch goes up on the site soon. Farewell to the ASH-1, Long live teh Squatch!

I definitely understand.

About the best most of us can do is have a personal policy of 'no flipping' ... or at least 'no markup.'

Now I'm seeing HCs that were bougth at the Blade show. These people got HCs at the blade show, before me, when I ordered one a couple of weeks ago and they are selling them at quite a bit of a premium. Something is wrong with this picture.

There were not LE's at Blade show, the one you have on order is an LE and only available through the Company Store with a pre-order.

I stand corrected, I checked again and it was an SE for sale. I guess I will be using that HC, when I receive it, to cut up that crow I will be eating. Thanks Eric
