Pictures of a 2006 HD-7 STS and a 2004 CQC-12 S. I recommend all Emerson owners and future Emerson owners to get these! I sanded off the HD-7's finish and it will get a Krien regrind soon. The original CQC-12's had a bead blasted slab as pictured.

+1 on the HD. Smoothest folder I own. Let us know how that regrind looks on the 7. I might be doing the same.

HK---AWESUM! How did you get the finish off? Wait till that blade comes back with the Krein! WOOO WEE.

Emersons two best knives ! you can't go wrong with either of those boys

Get that 7 sent to Tom !!! Im thinking about sending a 12 his way my self ;)

Seriously, these knives ROCK!

I just got an Emerson Timberline Specwar in and will be sending it to Tom Krien with the HD-7. Both these knives will get Ferrrked later!

I disassembled the HD-7 completely and hand sanded the blade with 800 grit. I need to get 400 grit though due to the blasted finish. I am thinking of mirror polishing the flats and also the Ti slab. This thing is gonna be PIMP.

bead blasted cqc12 slab looks awesome, wish they still did that.

My cqc12 (yr 2006) slab looks like the one on the HD-7 pictured above

Thanks, Bro. That's how Emersons should look. Or, that's how I like them!
