Are those a limited Run or production?

Emerson Seems to be out and so is everywhere else, I have a hard time finding info about them and the website only says they are not avalible right now.

I'm thinking about getting a Super CQC-7 so is there any real differce other than the extra jimping I can see in the pictures.

Also if anyone has some pics I'd be thankful.

They were a production run knife, however, they have not been sold in quite a while ( maybe a year to two...or more). The super has a little bigger blade and a lot bigger handle but the major difference is that the HD7 is a framelock not a liner lock. Although many people have issues with liner locks very few have major problems with framelocks. Make sure you put your meathooks on a Super to make sure the extra handle length is worth the little bit of blade difference. If I did not have a Benchmade CQC7 and an Emerson CQC7 I would never buy the Super as my only CQC wedge style (sharpened on one side) blade.

You only see the HD-7 for sale on the secondary market now days and they usually command the MSRP or more.

As others have mentioned, you're only going to find a HD-7 on the secondary market, usually at a premium. If you really want a framelock, there are a lot of pimpers out there that will do it for a reasonable price.
