Which HD did you sell? Which HD are you keeping? I hope you're keeping one. Hell, you just got that thing. Thought about sell'n mine but I'm keep'n er. It's too good a knife!

I only have one. Correction, 'had' one.

Yeah I know. I can't get used to the chisel grind. I knew that before buying it but hey, live and learn. It was fun to play with for a time.

Thanks for the pics. Steve, do you think you'd like a zero-grind chisel better? I was told that putting a secondary grind on a chisel defeats the purpose of that grind.Do you agree? I'd like to see a Scandi grind on a Emerson HD-7.

i got my hd-7 and WOW i fell in love with it. now my to fav emersons are this and the Persian i think i need another persian (if it was waved) :):)
 
TG. I sent Tom Krein my HD blade for a zero grind on Wed. I'll try to post a pic when I get it back. Glad you like the HD-7. Over-all it's my fav. knife. Do you still want a Persian?

The Persan is one of my faves too, im thinking HD Persian would be the way forward, waved or not id still buy it.
There may be some more work for STR in the near future actually now i think about it :D

maybe depending on how your hd looks i might be sending a knife to tom for the first time.
