Just rec. a used HD7 pse. Extremely nice knife and lite wt. to boot. Lock up perfect. Here's the deal though no CQC7a or b blade will fit in its place. Close but no cigar. The 7b is real close but just to much and down movement for my tastes. keepem sharp
 
Longbow---Why do you want to replace the blade? Is it that bad? The HD-7 is one of the best folders out there.
 
I was seeing if the 7b pe or the 7a pe would fit in place of the HD7's blade. Just wanted a plain edge instead of the pse. Keepem sharp
 
I like the PE. No serrations for this boy. STR explained that it is really hard to exchange folder blades. Good luck, Longbow.
 
Before I go ahead and buy an HD7 can I get more feedback for it? Is it worth $235 nib? Is there a limited amount of them made? Anything else I should know?
 
It is worth it from what I have read from a large number of people, they are not limited or anything, but they are one of two models with frame locks that emerson makes. Mine is arriving in a few days :D
 
OK, you talked me into it. The Ti slab will help keep my jeans intact compared to the G10 SOCFK-B I just got today. Gripn like a Motha!:)
