Just tried an experiment today with some knives to see how HDR photography would work.
Here's one of my Spydie Chinook:

anyone used HDR for knives before?

I've been wanting to try HDR on some knives & gear for a while. That came out nice.

What program do you use?

Knife and gun pictures. All atleast 3 exposures with a DSLR. I liked the cartoony end of HDR for object pictures.

I like HDR for other things too from time to time.

Yes, I like it overdone when I do it. But why not?

very nice sir, I like the XDm. HDR is a matter of taste..some like it overcooked, some like it almost "normal". I say there's a place for both.

Yeah, I'm a big XDM fan.

I think sometimes the overcooked HDR looks "cool", for the most part, subtle HDR can look great though, especially for landscapes.

Your Chinook shot could be an add all by itself, no caption needed. Pretty slick stuff!
