The black and white puppy is Heavy Duty !
The gray mal next to him is even Heavier Duty! An irresistable force or immovable object, depending on his mood:D

Here is their teammate Active Duty, the dog that never stops moving!

btw, my wife does not know that I have renamed all the dogs :D

Awesome looking dogs you have there. What kind are they? I love the satin/snake combo that the AD's have. I wish you could get the HD with it.

The gray and black are both malamutes. The black one really is a pup, 16 months old and a couple of years still before completely filling out. The white is a samoyed.
I love the AD. One of the reasons I bought the HD is that ADs are hard to come by. Not the same knife, for sure, but I really like this size knife for everyday chores, etc.
I like the snakeskin too, but these "black" handled knives will work fine for me too.

nice pics dogrunner, i had a Samoyed when i was a kid, damned loyal dog he was.

the main reason the HD was such a steal was because it was not customizable with different scales. it is one hell of a workhorse though and tougher than infi... wait, it is INFI:confused:

the HD is meant to be a bad ass user, no safe queens here:cool:

Dogrunner - those are some beautiful animals. Nice knife pics too. Where did you get he black and white laynard cord??

Coool ! I really like that AD... snakeskin is very cool in EDC. Heck it's cool in all the handles configs, but I have to admit I prefer it in the EDC.

Skunk called it. The HD is a user. Thick with black canvas. Made to be used!

Nice Dogs!! Were's the sled, That crew would pull ya real good:thumbup: MMMMUUUUSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH:D

The one that looks black and white is reflective. They are Isaacson specials and I posted another pic in the Swamprat forum.

We have reflective tape on the dog's harnesses in case a dog gets loose in the dark (and it's dark early in winter). I thought it would be handy to have a reflective lanyard in case a knife gets loose in the dark:D
Actually, it's happened.:o

The HD - definitely a user. The AD has been, for cutting stuff at least and my BA3 has been my harder use knife. Still small enuf to carry comfortably, big enough for serious work (other than chopping). Great for breaking up ice in the dog's buckets. But the HD looks like a tough little feller and has the advantage over the BA3 of fitting in my pocket!

Both the sams and mals are real "people" dogs. The sam in the pic is a shadow to my wife. He's also her main lead dog (probably not a coincidence).

The #1 sled with its principal driver (my wife). btw, this sled is the "Busse" of sleds (IMO). If you can break one of these you are probably in serious trouble.

Team taking off (last year, not enough snow yet this year). She's running a 10 dog team this year. I usually run 1 or 2 (I'm on skis usually).

That's Heavier Duty and Satin Jack (he's so smooth and balanced) at wheel (rear dogs), Battle Mistress (the mal, look out for her) and Steel Heart (never quits) in front of them, Active Duty and Mean Street at lead ...

Just for fun:
