Too much work and no fun makes Dan a dull boy!

After a week of Scout Camp (17 in my troop!)...I'm ready for some ME time. :p

How about you guys? Got anything cool planned? Or even just some "Man-Cave" time set aside?

That looks like fun. I'm planning on taking my daughter to Ft. Yargo SP here in Georgia for some canoeing and maybe some fishing, hiking or whatever. Get some good dad time.

Cool, I like your plans. What's the make, psi, and range of that thing.

The airgun is a CO2-fed Crosman 2240 that has been customized/tuned to do 530 fps with .22 pellets. Range? Have no idea. But handheld quarter-sized groups at 15 yds is no problem at all...and that's good enough for what I'm doing. :D

Skunk - canoeing is a blast. my kids seem to have caught the bug...on a recent trip they got to play with a kayak and it was not beached for 3 days!

Sounds like fun!

Sounds like you have some cool plans. I am going to a few places to do a few walks through the woods, maybe stop and do some fishing. Mainly just going to give some blade a workout in the woods.

On the 30th I am heading to northern michigan for a little fun in the woods. Its been 4 years since I was last "camping" and I can't wait, this city life is killing me. My problem is I have so many new knives I don't know what ones to take :D

here are some of the things I'm thinking of taking

Have a great time Dan!! Sweet pistol bro!

I wish I was heading out this weekend, but as usuall I'll be working....

Got back yesterday from a wet week in the bush.

When I get more time, I'll post some pics of the trip :D

Kind regards
Mick

Family reunion tomorrow at my mom's house, 30-35 people in attendance that I have absoluetly NOTHING in common with. Mom started the guilt trip when I told her the wife and I had other plans.... Something about being proud of me and wanting me there. I just make my rounds, say hi to folks, fix a plate of food, grab a beer and head out to the back yard.

Looking forward to Sunday, hope to get some time out in the woods near Carson, WA.

My son and I are scheduled to be camping in the Adirondacks with some of our friends:thumbup: Might get jammed-up by some medical issues that the in-laws are having though:grumpy:

Just made my way up to Blue Mountain, here in Ontario. I'm going to spend tomorrow on the Bruce Trail, with some time set aside for some knife work on my shop. I brought along a bunch of traditional knives (a handful of Grohmanns, a patch knife, and a scandi) to use, and I plan to take a few photographs for Stomper's 'traditional' contest.

That's about it! It's a chilly night here (as compared to Toronto), which is excellent. There are fireflies hanging around outside, and I heard a pack of coyotes yelping and barking about an hour ago. All things considered, after a busy week of work downtown, I am sooo glad to be here in the country.

All the best to everyone - enjoy your weekends outdoors!

I was wanting to go to the Breaks State Park for some hiking tomorrow...but since I went camping last weekend :o I guess I'll get caught up on some house work :(
