In a couple of hours the truck is headed south to Atlanta and the BLADE show...... This is the best weekend on the cutlery calendar ........ I love the SHOT Show but it is pretty much all business and has an only limited amount of knife nuttiness...... BLADE on the other hand is an intoxicating blend of all my favorite things...... Plenty of new factory blades to admire or smirk about, awesome customs to admire( some of the most beautiful artifacts in the history of man are on display here)......... AND, some of my favorite people will be in attendance........ And I get to hang with fellow knife nuts and talk about all the new stuff and all the old stuff too......Hot Damn, it is THAT weekend !!!!!!!...

I am looking forward to seeing you all....... I will be in the pit at the Waverly tonight and each night thereafter and, of course, at the KA-BAR booth during "working" hours....... Please, drop by ........

Sounds great Boss. Describing it this way gets me all excited for my first Blade show! Take care and we'll see you there!

If anyone sees the Palmetto Blades booth, ask to check out their Stonewall Jackson Prayer Tree and meteorite knife, it's an awesome piece of history that you can hold in your hand. :thumbup:
 
Really looking forward to seeing you again Boss. I come in Friday, and will be hanging out from then till Sunday evening.

I've never made it there but I told my supervisor last week that I'm scheduling work the week of Blade at our Marrietta, GA center next year. :p God willing and the creek don't rise, I will be there next year.

Blade was awesome, the people were great and my wallet is suffering from a vacuum...
Will do my very best to come back next year...
Will post pics, but not before I am back home in Norway at end of the week....
Long swim back with all that steel on my back....
