Let's see if we can get anyone to come out. I know you're in the area. Time to come out and camp!

On the Saturday of Veterans Day Weekend, I will be paddling into (hiking is also possible) a campsite at Little Square Pond through the Fish Creek Campsite. This is in the Saranac Lake region of the Adirondacks. Parking is easy and the trip in takes about 45 minutes. Along with about 12 people, we will be camping in a primitive site and practicing a bunch of bushcraft skills. If you've seen my pics, you know what you're in for. This trip is free and learning is guaranteed.

If you're interested in going, E-mail me at estelawildernesseducation at Gmail dot com. You won't be sorry!

Sounds like fun! I'll have to see how my schedule looks as the date approaches.

I spent some of early October up in that neck of the woods... you can see some photos of my trip here: post #384; http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1034998-Paddling-into-2013/page20 The park is a beautiful place to paddle and camp, for sure. A pretty sizeable new chunk was added to the park as of 01OCT this year, too.

Stay sharp,
desmobob
