I will be out of range of the computer for a few days here folks. Going off to Tennessee to look at homes since we be movin' that way soon!

Lots of bang for the buck right now in this buyers market and I got the itch to get closer to family as I get older. If you need me feel free to reach me as usual either here or email but just be advised I may be slow to respond until I get back. Thanks:thumbup:

Been open about that but after visiting many smaller towns we really find we are liking Medina and Milan area. Thanks for asking and for all the luck wished our way.

+1 on meeting Jeremy. He is a really great guy who loves making knives. I believe such a meeting would benefit both of you.

Well this trip was discouraging and beneficial at the same time. I know towns I no longer need to bother with because I'm not interested in living there and I also know some I really like and wish to delve into further. I'm planning another trip back next week or sooner if I recover from the trip faster than I think I will. We did a lot of traveling and home hunting is quite stressful as I'm sure most of you know. So, although the house we made an offer on this trip was not one that worked out because our offer was turned down I have another list of homes I need to see focused more on where I want to look now and will be going back alone this time now that the Realtor knows what I'm looking for. This trip was cut short due to our pets at home. Its damn hard to find a pet sitter when your dog weighs in excess of 140 pounds and slobbers all over everyone and you have four cats with two that need separated at all times. :D Since the wife is staying this next trip I'll have less to worry with at home.

Nice area. Been there about 6 times in the last year and a half. My daughter married a police officer from Trenton.
 
We looked at houses in Trenton, Milan, Medina and even NW Jackson. This last trip I just looked over Martin, Ripley, Covington, Munford, Millington, Oakland, and Eads. So far nothing that appeals to us. We'll just have to go again here shortly to keep looking for the right one. Sure is a lot of foreclosures in TN compared to Oklahoma.

It doesn't look like they'll be missing me too soon. We haven't found anything in TN and our house here for sale is not setting the world on fire so for now we are at a standstill until either we get an offer on this one or find something we just have to have that screams "YES" to us really loudly.

Truth be told I'm not in a big hurry to leave Oklahoma. I love it here. Its the wife with this itch to move more than I but I do like the idea of being closer to family the older we get so I do see a relocation coming down the road.
