Any one live between Boston and Austin?
Looking to take a break somewhere along the way. I love me some SMKW's and TN in general. Anyways...holla if you want to hang out with a fat old man and his wife and kids. We will be heading out in 3 weeks.
Peace.

Unfortunately, Colorado is a bit out of the way. Otherwise I'd shoot to have your knife done then and you could just pick it up in person.

Thanks boys...I wish I was going that far west boys...but this guys a poor boy. I have to head down through NY, then PA, VA, WV, TN, AL, Ol Miss, then LA and TX.

if you took I-70 across to I-35 it wouldn't change your trip distance that much... :D

I will look at the road atlas and see what we can do guys! I want to have some fun on the trip, make it a sort of family vacation if you will.
We are going to stop at the Smoky Mountain Knife Works, thats always fun!

If you take I-40 across through Memphis to Oklahoma City, you could check out the Cowboy Hall of Fame -- awesome museum.
That's only a 3 1/2 hour drive for me to come down to, then you could take I-35 south from there.

I hear you brother, and I will keep you posted. We are looking to shoot down through Alabama and Mississippi. I would like to look up an old Army buddy.

no worries - army buddy trumps a bunch of folks you've never actually met FTF.
There's actually some decent camping in OK just north of the Tx border -- we can always arrange a group meet once you're settled in to the new digs.

Dallas is on your way. Let me know when you'll be passing through and I'll buy y'all a coke. Maybe if you have time you can have dinner with us.
