Finally going on that Hog Hunt I made such a stink about....:D :p

I'll be driving down with Tom Krein...we're leaving his place around 8:30 AM.

Should arrive in Uvalde, Texas around 8-10 PM...depending on how many stops we make. :D

(already have 4-5 lined up!)

Anyway...just wanted to let you guys know...

Also, if anyone here is interested...I've put together a mailing list. No spam, no soliciting...just sharing projects, ideas, etc. You can sign up here:

Don't anybody burn down the Cantina while I'm gone....cause I'd really like to be here if anything hairbrained like that happened. :D :foot:

Wish me luck!

Dan

Remember, it they run straight fror you, get out of the way. As in to the side, you can't outrun one. :-)

Time to place your orders for sliced pork. :D Just wondering what kind of barbecue sauce goes with a hunt like that... Tequila and Ballistol?

Good luck, Dan. Git some!

Mike

Dan the Cantina is so hot . We cannot assure you of its not catching fire while you are gone . Hurry back. we,ll keep your glass filled and the B:B:Q:/smoker stoked. (smoke raised for the porker indeed.) :D :D

Good hunting . Safe slicing .

Sounds like blast, Dan. And with knives like those after them, those darned feral hogs had better run!

Do I smell bacon? Yum...

Chris

Good luck Dan. Be careful and have fun. I wanna see a pic of that knife to the hilt in a hog.

Got back this AM at 4.....**shleepy!**

Had a heckuva time....we all got trophy hogs....mine, of course, was the best lookin'...:D

I promise to post pics later...

I think I need a nap. :p

Thanks for doing your part to keep us safe and healthy, Dan. I heard they traced the e.coli bacteria outbreak in the spinach supply to wild hogs that broke through the fencing at a farm.

Bacon my bone handled barlow knife, BACKSTRAPS, I'm talking tenderloin hoss, make yer tongue slap yer head off. But speaking of bacon, and sausage, and let's not forget ham, Dan, do you know any rural types up there in Arkansas that might have a smokehouse? If you do, they'll show you how to treat a hog proper. ;)

Congrats on your successful hunt Dan, that dadburn hog didn't know who he was messin' with did he? :D
