Well I'm headed for South Carolina for the summer and plan to take my two blades with me so I can keep them in good care (no one back home would remember to check them). I was just wondering what the best ways to store the blades in the hot humid climate and what might happen to the wood down there. Unfortunately, they will have to stay in my car trunk for a few days since I can't move into the new place right away, so I worry about the heat.
The KLVUK seems to have soaked up all the mineral oil it's going to take and the CAK already had some kind of coating on the handle. Both are very well coated in mineral oil for the trip. Thanks!
