No not Wauseon, the other one. I'm going to Germany next week and will get to make another trip to Solingen. I've been several times in the past and always go by the Boker factory, Puma knives, Wusthof, etc. It's amazing to see all of the knifemaking history in one city. This probably won't be cheap.

Anyone else ever been there? Other knife-based suggestions in the area?
 
Better take a Busse with you to show them how its done :D
Seriously, sounds fun; come back with pictures (and a knife or two).
 
Enjoy your time in germany!
If you have the chance, go to visit the war & weapons museum (Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung) in Koblenz! (around 1 hour away from Solingen)
I was there with Tom Krein and Luc Burnley some years ago and we had a great day!

This pattern is commonly known as a Sodbuster, which is actually a Case brand name.

I think the folder is called a pocket butcher but I forget the German name.
