Gonna take my friend willis up to SMKW tomorrow and bum around. Anything ya'll want to see?

Museum? Cases?

Perhaps decor? Well, that's pretty much knives too, but they got some posters as well.

Should be a hoot.

No idea what that is but cases of beer inside a museum with a lot of debauchery sounds like a good time...pics please :D

Have a good time moose. Would like to make it there someday myself.

O man, that's mecca ain't it....have a good time moose. But still drink beer inside of a museum for me ok? I wanna see a drunk van goh/ moose collaboration

They had some nice pacs there. I had no money left to buy one by the time i saw them ! I ended up getting 2 hawks, CS Bushman Bowie that shaved paper as fast as you could swing the blade, CS Lawman folder for TwinStick Jr., CS bolo machete, Ontario 12" D-handle machete, Tops/Buck CSAR-T fixed blade, Mora bushcraft forest, 3 Big John ceramic sticks, 14" blade Old Hickory, ESEE Izula arrowhead wallet w/2 arrowheads, a bright yellow Zippo lighter, fluid & flints & some gifts for others. Thier prices on Beckers & Ka-Bars were too high for me. I went there with full intentions of getting a Tops Armegeddon & an Alaskan Harpoon. Once i held the Armegeddon, i was not as impressed as i thought i would be & they did not have the Alaskan Harpoon, which is still on my list. It just looks like an awesome all around knife with a big ass choil. Have fun. I know i did. My wife just don't understand how i could spend so much time looking at knives & such.

I love that store. It's been 2 years since I've been there and I think it's time to take a trip soon. The wife'll love the fact that I want to drive 300 miles to see the knife shop. Leave here at 4 am will put me in the parking lot around 8:00-8:30am, just in time for them to open at 9:00am. Yes, I have done it before. :o:eek:

I'll definitely be visiting this place when I go to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge in March!! Can't wait!!!

Oh, and Warrior, thanks for the site on the cabin, looks like we will be staying in one of those!!

I have never seen it. As much as you can please :D

But I really just want a shot from the front door looking in.

Well, it was willis's birthday trip, and of course, I forgot my point and shoot, so, I took a few cell pics. They suck, but better than nothing.

Kabar's counter. All of those are Kabars.

The BKT's and JAB's.

Kabar's Leather handles classic series. I handled a few, and I think I'll be taking a closer look, alot closer.

A small part of the decor. and I do mean small part. You have to imagine, this place is the size of a Super WalMart. 3 stories. Basement is cooking stuff, artifacts for purchase, and sharpening. Think "HouseWares". 2nd floor (street level), home of over 10,000 knives for sale. 3rd floor, Museum. Used to be the museum was on the 2nd floor, but after a few estate aquisitions, they had to move it upstairs. Astounding. I have yet to remember to take a camera in there, and this time, we didn't actually hit the museum, so.........

Oh, did I mention we got the cover of the new SMKW cataloge?

Willis had a good time, he wound up getting a Green River Skinner Blade, ready to handle, and was pretty tickled to have found such a good specimen.

I bought nothing. Not one thing. I was trying to choose between a new axe, CS folder, Moras(my god the moras), Opinel, and so many other things, I walked out still not knowing what I wanted. Next time.
