Well, it was willis's birthday trip, and of course, I forgot my point and shoot, so, I took a few cell pics. They suck, but better than nothing.
Kabar's counter. All of those are Kabars.
The BKT's and JAB's.
Kabar's Leather handles classic series. I handled a few, and I think I'll be taking a closer look, alot closer.
A small part of the decor. and I do mean small part. You have to imagine, this place is the size of a Super WalMart. 3 stories. Basement is cooking stuff, artifacts for purchase, and sharpening. Think "HouseWares". 2nd floor (street level), home of over 10,000 knives for sale. 3rd floor, Museum. Used to be the museum was on the 2nd floor, but after a few estate aquisitions, they had to move it upstairs. Astounding. I have yet to remember to take a camera in there, and this time, we didn't actually hit the museum, so.........
Oh, did I mention we got the cover of the new SMKW cataloge?
Willis had a good time, he wound up getting a Green River Skinner Blade, ready to handle, and was pretty tickled to have found such a good specimen.
I bought nothing. Not one thing. I was trying to choose between a new axe, CS folder, Moras(my god the moras), Opinel, and so many other things, I walked out still not knowing what I wanted. Next time.
