I am having a hard time finding a headlamp that uses a 1 maybe 2 -18650 batteries. I want it to have red light also. I dont care about having the brightest light out there, I just want to carry one type battery. Is there sush an animal? I can find em all day that run on AA or AAA but not an 18650. Thanks

Honestly, my Energizer headlamp outperforms all my friends expensive REI headlamps. It only costed me $18 at Home Depot. 7 LEDs, including red, and runs on 3 AAAs. They are worth every penny and more. I don't know of any in the battery you listed, sorry.

May make a difference on distances you want to see or be see however my experience is The Energizer headlamp works great at 0' Dark Thirty loading my duck boat, navigating river or channels to bay or other hunting area..can see everything I need..and can be seen at night. Of course, boat has navigation and white anchor light while underway.
Lot of uses for a hands-free dependable light. Have a family member who uses mine as a reading light when the power goes out - does like her books.

What he said. I'm a fan of Zebralights, myself. Though you're going to have a hell of a time finding something that uses 18650s and has both white and red emitters.
