Years ago I had a headphone radio - the kind that is made as a single unit with the radio built into the headphones. It was great for wearing while working out on account of it had no wires to get in the way. And, as I recall, sound and reception were fine.
Recently I tried to find a new one and was suprised to find that practically nobody had them. Radio Shack had a single model in their line, but I found it to be uncomfortable (and not adjustable, so it slipped off easily). The only others I found on line were the 'noise cancelling' type: fine for what they were intended for, but too large and heavy for use while working out. Basically, I need a small, light weight unit that can be adjusted for proper fit and is well enough designed to stay put during active use. I did come across some very expensive Sony models - $150 range & much too much for my budget.
So: anybody know of a headset radio that would work for me? Maybe something in the under $40 price range? Any suggestions most appreciated!
