Hey guys, just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on a recent clone of an Annual Sebenza I saw. These guys are really getting closer and closer. Just wanted to call attention to this, I will not however point out what details that gave it away except for the obvious markings.

Sharing this to avoid anyone getting fooled by these cloners. If this is not permitted, kindly feel free to delete this thread.

Thanks buddy for the heads up. They are indeed improving. Scary thought, not only for newbies but veterans alike. Makes buying the older ones harder and harder.

I'd be interested in seeing the guts of it. With all the pics and videos of CRK knives being taken apart and reassembled these thieves basically have everything they need to mock one up. It just takes a few to ruin a good thing.

Annuals are an especially good choice as fewer people get to handle them. Thanks for the post!

That is pretty darn close to the Annual. Scary how much attention they are putting into the clones.

Its not like someone that knows CRK's would mistake that knife as real especially since the blade is marked with some other companies marks. The ones I worry about are ones that have all the correct marks being sold as original.

Too bad they cant just make their own design and make it popular instead of putting so much effort in cloning/ steeling other makers design.

This one doesn't scare me as much as the last one that was posted here....

Just off the bat, it's an "infamous" Kevin John with all kinds of ridiculous writing on the blade.

You buy this one and you did it on purpose, or need to check for a pulse.

Just wondering, is it barbecue you do not want to help the cloners pick up on all the details?

None of us very knowledgable CRK owners want to give even more tips that can help the cloners. I know that pisses many people off, but it's the stance I have always had. I don't help them. If someone wants to know, just PM some knowledgable members is all.

I know that I do not allow fake CRK to be sold on my BST page.

Dang, just noticed I got autocorrected from "because" to "barbecue". SMH

I was actually scratching my head there for a few seconds. Lol.

In any case, you are correct. As what nyefmaker said, it would be best for details to be discussed via pm. We don't wanna really give any cloners tips on how to improve.
