Dude, my AOL ate your e-mail (no comments from you AOL haters), so you need to resend me your mailing address. In the meantime, here's some pics of your siru's new accessories. Handles are African ebony, blades are W1 tool steel (old files). The little brown handled karda in the one pic is the one that came with my 12" siru, for size comparison. The other two pics show how the tools ride in my 12" siru's scabbard. Blade finish on both is kind of "villager" at best, cranked these out between making throwing knives and helping a friend build a storage shed. :D

Honest Bri, they're packed up and ready to go, just need your address. Anybody got a fix on Bri in Chi? Wonder where he got off to?

Really interesting contrasting the two contrasting karda replacements on the board just now.

Setting aside fit/finish questions, I'd find it really interesting to hear folks' thoughts on the relative merits of a pukko karda vs. a drop point karda. I'm much more familiar with the pukko as a user, but have always liked the lines of a drop-point. What are folks' thoughts about the two designs' pros/cons as a small utility knife?
