Looks like Spark is fixing to shut down the Emerson sub forum due to there not being a presence from EKI.

Not sure if any of the regulars here are aware if this so just thought I would let you all know.
I know there is not a huge following on BFC but I would rather not post in the General discussion and have to deal with the negativity so I do plan on contacting EKI and asking them to help us keep it open and would appreciate if you guys would do the same.

 I believe it will be a win - win situation for emerson and BF if the forum remains open, I do understand this falls on the shoulders of emerson, and ultimately it will be there choice.

What is the best way to contact Emerson about this issue. I am a fan of his knives and would be cool if a company rep would be in the sub forum.

It wont affect my buying decisions one bit if they are inclined to let it be archived, but I agree it's best for everybody.

Not sure, but I plan on emailing and calling EKI directly.

I'm thinking we should all e-mail through the emerson site.
Totally need to keep this alive folks. This is a very sane sub-forum.
Cheers

It is pretty laid back here and that is the main reason I like hanging out, but as has already been stated, ball is in EKI's court.

Either way I will still collect and use Emerson's, just won't show them off as much.

Indeed cncpro11 ^^
It would be a real shame if our cozy little hangout was shed to the wayside.
Cheers

Seems to me that things were going along nicely until someone drew attention to the matter but I agree -- it's in EKI's court. Kinda liked it here, you know?

I found it very odd indeed that a member with exactly one post in the Emerson forum since 2008 would even care enough to bring it up and that is all I am going to say.
the good news though, is that Emerson stepped up and is going to appoint a moderator so no harm done.
