Stop it, I have to fight the urge! You guys posting about it makes it twice as hard. :D

I lucked out and will be getting a Black/Sage Skinny! Yee-haw.

I have gone from piglett to Pig very quickly....:eek:

I have an Olive drab/black canvas micarta ASH1 on order. Thanks to this thread, I also have a Desert Sage/tan micarta Skinny ASH on the way! (anyone have a photo of one?)

By the way, these are my first two Busse blades. (Unless you can count my Swamp Rat Camp Tramp). I figured the anniversary version of the Steel Heart was a good way to start....

I almost went with the tan slabs but the black came back on the page so I went with Black Micarta/Desert Sage.

I'll probably end up with the Tan sometime too, depending on how much I like the Skinny ASH.

Thank you. I noticed the thread JUST after I edited my post to include the photo request. :o

The hardest part of ordering my ASH1 was deciding on blade coating and handle scale colors. I don't believe I've ever had that particular difficulty when purchasing a knife before..... ;)

I e-mailed Dave Brown about a sheath. I asked for his opinion on whether the Desert Sage/Tan Micarta knife would look better in Coyote Brown or Desert Tan. Can anyone vouch for Mr. Brown's fashion sense? Never mind... I just saw some photos of him in the "Flexing" thread below. :D
