As some of you know, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October of last year. The good news is that it was caught in the very early stages. The bad news is that since I'm so young (53)
that it needs to come out. On thursday, I'll be having a robotic prostatectomy. It's the new type of surgery where the doc uses a computer controlled apparatus to go in through very small incisions, and take it out. The benefits are less bleeding, quicker recovery and hopefully less nerve and blood vessel damage.
So I'll be off the net for 2-3 days after Wednesday night. I'll be at home for 2-3 weeks before I go back to work. Just wanted to let my friends here know. I'll be fine.
