Heard some bootie on new AFCK feature

I saw somewhere that new AFCK 806 D-2's where coming with drills and taps to place the clip tip up or down and also lefty and righty carry (four possible clip positions).

Is this true and who has them? Since I am lefty, I could not handle the lefty thumb opening of the AFCK with the righty tip-down clip in the way. And I really liked the knife.
 
i think all the newer ones have the four positions for the clip and aren't the older ones reversible clip in tip up position anyways?
 
You do mean they're going to have threaded holes for all 4 positions right?

It sounds like you mean they're going to come with a do it yourself mounting kit.... they don't even want you taking the knife apart to clean it.
 
In addition to all 4 positions drilled and tapped, the bushings are bronze and the price is the same as the original model.:cool:

From what I've heard, BM is moving to bronze bushings on all models.
 
The newer Benchmade catalog I have shows the AFCK Axis with holes tapped for tip up and tip down carry, either side.
 
If this is true, then it's time to start finding what company is selling these!
