The minute you walk out with anything from the showroom/store,
your brand new 'purchase'(but of course this would not include gems/works of art/priceless treasures, etc) would have fallen by some 20 percent if not more (depends on the goods in question among the many factors to consider).
Try selling right there and then, the minute you step outside.
You would be so lucky to cover your cost.
(Please discount the probability of you having bought the last piece of something, and then sold to someone who wanted it equally bad at that point of time).
So how would you make a kill on newly bought goods?
Simple key to riches, buy low sell high.
Timing it is said, is everything.
So unless you bought your treasures at a good price, do not expect to make anything. In fact its finding the right buyer at the right time that ensures a tidy profit.
Good luck in your dealings!
Oh, and lastly you might want to consider Hunters advise; as your present SOG-K collection (in mint condition) would be worth a lot more once (heaven forbid!) these models be discontinued for what-ever-reason. Besides, they would make a far greater gift for your Grandchildren in a couple of years time.
Till then, please hold on, no matter how bad it is for the moment because there isn't anything far worst than regret.
Congrats on the new arrival!
Krizzard, out
