Can heat anodizing titanium handles affect the fit and finish on a knife?

The knife I'm thinking about is a Spyderco Native 5 in titanium. It doesn't have any liners, only titanium on both sides. The washers and lock are in direct contact with the titanium.

I might want to color the titanium with heat, but I'm worried if it can affect the fit and finish. Can the titanium get permanently warped and bent from the heat?

Not in my experience. I've heat anodized a few knives and I've never had any issues, including a ZT0777.

I've found Spydercos in generally have good dimensional tolerances.

As with CRK, I have measured and it is indeed within the .0002" range between standoff, lock pin and pivot bushings on the Sebbie 21 I have. Fit is simply controlled by those three points, standoff/lock pin bushings are the same, pivot bushing is .0002" under - very exact - just tighten and it will be buttery smooth. CRK supplied with a wrench, no gimmicks and that, probably you already knew/read. :)

I have extensive experience machining/heat anodizing titanium and understand certain precautions! For my personal enjoyments, I did these(resemble an underwater coral scene w/penetrating light arrays? :)) to my large CRK Insingo, after, still butter smooth:
