Heat colored handle

Hello folks
Here is my new folder. First time I was trying colorheat on steel handle.
Nickel damascus on hadle and blade is random. I do not know the dimensions.

It was heated to 280 degrees celsius in oven. nothing complicated.
Bakelite?? maybe because it was polished and next colored.
