Heat Treat... Check!

I spent all day yesterday heat treating knives and everything went very well! These came out as straight as can be which helps a ton.

The framelock blades are CPM D2 and the rigging knives are 154 CM.

They are for an older order. I am not sure why but I am getting requests for rigging knives almost daily. I'm not making many fixed blades at the moment but these emails have me thinking... As mentioned I'm sticking with folder for a while!

The riggers will be ground down loads including tapered tangs.

Lately I have been doing a high hollow grind on the folder blades and they come out surprisingly light for such thick blades.

I really like my place! I'm near the bottom of the mountain and it takes a few hours to hike to the top that meets National Forest. From there I can see 100 miles away on a good day.
