I spent all day yesterday heat treating knives and everything went very well! These came out as straight as can be which helps a ton.

The framelock blades are CPM D2 and the rigging knives are 154 CM.

Rigging knives? Epic! I love the rainbow effect those have!

They are for an older order. I am not sure why but I am getting requests for rigging knives almost daily. I'm not making many fixed blades at the moment but these emails have me thinking... :D As mentioned I'm sticking with folder for a while!

The riggers will be ground down loads including tapered tangs.

Lately I have been doing a high hollow grind on the folder blades and they come out surprisingly light for such thick blades.

I'd blame Xander. He's probably been showin' off the Teak handled blade you made him. :p

I think so! :D You guys rock.

God's Country!!
You are one lucky dude, Daniel!

I really like my place! I'm near the bottom of the mountain and it takes a few hours to hike to the top that meets National Forest. From there I can see 100 miles away on a good day.
