I was looking around at the rat website and saw in the how its made section this:

"**All RAT Cutlery knives now feature a new heat treat procedure. Rowen Manufacturing has developed a new heat treat recipe that allows for hardening the blade completely to 57 Rc. while still maintaining flexibility. Please view this video to see the results of this heat treat process. "

Was there some kind of production date when this heat treat changed For the NEW heat treat procedure?

Thanks

P.S. sorry for the bombardment of questions im new and curious.

This was very early on and there's very few if any production blades out there with the differental heat treat.

From what I've been told, the results are better with the Rowen heat treat than they were with the differental.
