Hey guys. I used a guys website awhile ago to build an oven and I completely lost track of it. It was very comprehensive and thorough. He has all kinds of diy projects for the knife maker on his site and I'm hoping with this little bit of info someone can help. The website is somewhat archaic but extremely detailed and helpful. This is also where I was first introduced to dancom kanthal calculator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Moving to "Shop Talk", where the knife makers hang out.

Try the Knifedogs site. I think they had the resource links you refer to. The sub-forum is next to the bottom of the page and called "WIPs and Tutorials".

Dan Comeau had a lot of stuff on his site, but it may have gotten deleted from the blog? Red Beard Ops has some great info and builds on his YouTube channel, too.

If it was Dan Comeau's site then it can still be accessed from the wayback machine. E.g. here is the link for the oven

Hah! I knew there was some way to look at his stuff again! I was reading his posts when I was building my HT oven this July, but couldn't remember how I was doing it! TONS of great info on his blog!
