Heat treat Re-do

New knife maker here. I heat treated a blade of 01 tool steel the made the mistake of doing a little "touch-up" on the belt sander and turned the tip of the blade blue. Do I have to start completely over with annealing and then heat treat or can I just heat treat again? What do I do now? Thanks, Jack

How much you overheat tip ? If it is very small part of tip maybe you can reshape tip little to avoid HT ?
As far as I learned here ..... you can HT blade again , no need to annealing again .
