Anyone heat treated the titanium handles on a Sebenza? I like the look of the Strider handle titanium and would like to duplicate. Ideas?

Next question: How's it done? Propane? Mapp? What kind of tips? How long is it heated? etc... etc...

If I recall correctly, the part of the handle that comes in contact with the blade to lock it is heat treated for hardness and the pivoting part of the lock mechanism is treated for memory.

So, I'd be careful about those two areas when you are working on it.

I can tell you this, it's hard to get good color with propane. I also tried on a gas stove which barely works. PiterM did some really nice coloring.
