I could use some help on selecting a heat treater somewhere close to me Arizona.

Yea I know Paul Bos is da man, but I typically only do about 3-5 in a batch. He is good but not cost effective for small batches.

Anybody used Texas Knifemakers supply?
Or know of someone else in this neck of the woods???

Help is appreciated:D

Bob,Sounds like you need to get a good oven so you can do your own heat treating. It is really rewarding to say "I did the heat treat" when someone brags on how well your knife will hold its edge.

I have a good sized kiln but it is about 15yrs old my guess. It needs to be converted to digital controls. If I did that I would then look at a digital control ramping cryo unit also.
But hey I need to sell ALOT more knives before that happens:rolleyes:
